Skin and Laser Clinic – Dorchester

At KOT Building Contractors, we were proud to deliver a full fit-out package for the Skin and Laser Clinic in Brewery Square, Dorchester.

The project started as a shell unit, and we transformed it into a sophisticated clinic, designed meticulously in collaboration with the client.

The interior fit-out featured four new stud partition walls, including some elegant curved walls that added a striking design element to the space. We installed acoustic-rated drop MF ceilings to ensure privacy and noise control, essential for a serene and comfortable client experience.

The mechanical systems included ventilation, air conditioning, and a comprehensive power and lighting setup, all tailored to meet the clinic’s needs. Additionally, a fire alarm system and a hot water cylinder with associated plumbing were integrated for safety and functionality.

The clinic houses four treatment rooms, each uniquely designed with a feature wall and vanity unit configuration. We installed bulkheads with LED perimeter lighting in each room, creating a calming atmosphere for clients. The wooden flooring throughout the premises adds warmth and continuity to the space.

A standout feature of the clinic is the café area, where we installed a glass partition that opens up the room, providing a welcoming and airy environment. In the yoga spaces, we fitted an acoustic-rated sliding bifold door partition, offering flexibility and sound insulation for different activities, and creating a functional optional divide that can easily be used to split the space into smaller functional rooms for various class requirements.

The clinic also includes a well-equipped shower area, a staff kitchen, and a main reception area. The custom reception desk, with the clinic’s logo inscribed into a backlit box, serves as a focal point, enhancing the professional yet inviting ambiance.
To complete the project, we carried out full decoration throughout, including custom vinyl graphics to the front of the shop, which perfectly encapsulate the clinic’s branding and identity.
