Soft Play café – Dorchester

The project encompassed key elements included the installation of new Fermacell and MF partition work, acoustic ceilings, and oak laminate internal fire doors. We also constructed a disabled access ramp for enhanced accessibility.

Our team designed and built a bespoke café counter featuring integrated appliances such as a dishwasher, display fridge, and coffee machine, ensuring functionality and aesthetics. The soft play area was specially designed with a soft play frame and slide, providing a safe and enjoyable space for children. Additionally, we installed custom oak effect bench seating with wipeable cushions and concealed storage, along with non-slip safety vinyl flooring throughout the venue.

The project also involved a complete decoration package, with the application of durable, wipeable paint finishes on walls and satin wood finishes on woodwork. Finally, we designed and installed custom shopfront graphics and signage to enhance the café’s street presence.
From an MEP perspective, we designed and installed a mechanical ventilation system to ensure adequate fresh air flow throughout the space;

A full power and lighting configuration to ensure the space is well lit, welcoming and aesthetically pleasing; A fully fitted out toilet area complete with a part M compliant disabled toilet and a hot and cold water system; And last but not least a fully comprehensive fire detection system complete with emergency lighting and call points.
